Re-Banding – Granting Approval

The SHA or WDC can select "Web Database" from the "View" menu to examine the groups that have been sent by trusts for re-banding approval.

The main screen grid has a column labelled "Approval" that has the approval status of the groups. The possible values are:

·      R Templ (Template approval requested)

·      R Impl (Implementation approval requested)

·      R Formal (Formal approval requested)

·      Template (Template approval granted)

·      Impl (Implementation approval granted)

·      Formal (Formal approval granted)

 

Click on the column header to sort by approval status.

There is a report – "Print Re-banding Details" (under the "Prints" menu) which allows more detailed selection by status and date and presents more information. See Print Re-banding Details for more information.

 

Granting Approval

Select the group and right click. From the menu that appears select "Change Approval Status".

A screen will appear that shows the current status at the bottom and the details completed for the status change request at the top. These details are greyed out and cannot be changed.

Approval is granted by clicking the bottom left button. This will be labelled:

·      Grant template approval

·      Grant implementation approval

·      Grant formal approval

·      Update (if no approval request is pending)

Depending on the request pending.

Before clicking this button, comments can be added in the "Re-banding comments from WDC" box.

If provisional re-banding has been requested, this must be allowed or rejected by selecting the appropriate button. If accepted, a band to be paid must be specified.

If formal approval is being granted, the band to be paid must be specified.

An "approval from" date is required for implementation or formal approval.
